The prime minister of New Zealand has confirmed 40 people were murdered, and about 20 injured, in a terror attacks on 2 mosques in Christchurch, NZ. Among the dead are children.
The attacks occurred at 13:40 local time.
3 man and a woman were taken into custody by the NZ police. One of the men is believed to be Australian. The NZ Police Commissioner confirmed that IEDs were discovered in vehicles seized.
